From our Long Beach office, we service LA, Orange and San Diego county markets with full-service brokerage and consulting. Our Palm Springs office provides brokerage and consulting services and manages nearly 100 golf course-oriented resort properties as seasonal and vacation rentals.   We currently have over $50 Million of real estate and business assets/entities under management. 

We also work with small to medium-sized companies in an advisory role for start-ups, M & A, restructuring, business management and strategic planning.  Our client list has been built over 30+ years and most new clients come by way of referral.

smithREgroup, operating as Desert Princess Palm Springs Real Estate operates a full-service brokerage/seasonal/vacation rental business in the Coachella Valley.  We  work with resort property owners seeking rental income from their resort properties to offset ownership costs or as investments.  Our very loyal tenant base includes clients from across the USA and Canada.  We currently have over  $35M of real estate assets under management. in the Coachella Valley.

Born and raised in Southern California, Mr. Smith has been involved in the real estate industry since 1982.  As the founder and principal of smithREgroup™, Mr. Smith brings a wealth of knowledge and experience spanning more than 35 years and continues to focus on building his real estate and business consulting/teambuilding practices primarily through past and present business and personal relationships.  Prior to the creation of smithREgroup™, he served as the President and Managing Broker of Century 21 Sparow-Shoreline, a multi-office real estate brokerage responsible for more that $2 billion in sales and over 7500 transactions in the residential and commercial sector during his 12 year tenure.  Under his leadership, company revenue grew from $2M to over $16M including a start-up Department of Corporations Escrow  company and a joint venture mortgage company, for which he served as President and corporate secretary, respectively.        

Mr. Smith has consulted on numerous multi-family projects, including a number of condominium conversion projects.  Mr. Smith has also worked for Grubb and Ellis, Citation Home Builders and run his own personal real estate investment practice.  He graduated from the USC Marshall School of Business with a real estate finance degree and has also been licensed as a CA Insurance Broker and currently holds a CA Broker’s License.
